A Word from the Mods

The Mods request your consideration of the following items:

Alex has full Administrative and editing capability on this board, and we expect that he will visit us from time to time. If what you're writing is not something you'd want him to see, don't put it on here.  The Internet is a free and open forum (even when it is a private and registered site), whatever you say is out there forever.

Please be sensitive to Alex's privacy and the privacy of his family, friends, and co-workers.

Please do not use performer's real names in Screen Names (No Mrs. O'Loughlin, for instance).

Mods are here for your technical assistance. We'll help you if we can. If we can't, we'll at least find out why.

We appreciate your participation in The Alex O'Loughlin Fan Club.

                                                      A List of the Rules

1.   Be respectful of others. Being kind and considerate of the feelings of fellow members is crucial to all of us having fun, which is our primary goal. Note: Preceding a cruel remark with "with all due respect" does not make it suddenly respectful, and will not be seen as such by the Moderators.

2.   Respect Alex, his family, friends, and co-workers. Honor their privacy. Please refrain from discussing their personal lives and families or significant others. Thumper's Mom had it right: "If you can't say something nice about somebody, don't say anything at all!"

3.   Language and content of your posts should fall within an PG designation.

4.   No spamming or pressuring others for money. The only kind of spam we allow is the kind immortalized by Monty Python.

5.   Slander and bashing is not permitted.

                                                      Our Mission Statement

We are here to celebrate the many talents of Alex O'Loughlin.

Our fan experience is enhanced by the friendships we've made on this and other Alex dedicated sites. We are here to celebrate his professional triumphs. We do not participate in campaigning.

We appreciate enthusiasm for other actors, yet our primarily focus is on Alex.

We request respect and kindness in all these activities. Put downs, inciting a riot, flaming or snarking will be handled by a "1 Strike Rule". The guilty party will be given 1 warning. A second infraction will result in dismissal from The Alex O'Loughlin Fan Club.
